Waiting for files to close Check if you have the process Launcher.exe or Wow.exe running in Task Manager and end it, then the patch should start. You can also reboot the computer and run the patch manually by clicking on WoW-3.0.3.9183-to-3.0.8.9464-enGB-patch from the game directory. Errors applying the patch If you encounter one of the following errors during patching, this is usually due to some corrupt,
or extra patch files in your World of Warcraft directory. Check for any files called Patch-2.mpq or Patch-X.mpq where X could be a number or letter in the following directories in your World of Warcraft installation folder: Data Data enGB Data xxXX for any other language packs you may have installed.
