Leveling up a pet that is far below your level is hard work. Your pet only gains XP if you do, so you will be fighting
mobs using melee because your pet won't be able to tank without dying. I have done it by fighting green mobs and letting my pet help.-There are plenty of talented players who look down on the rest of us. It is a rare talent when a good player is able to teach people to be better. If you find that kind of player, join their guild!Pets XP bar is one third of your own, if at the same level.-Wheels

Whys do they wants sex with nuclear freak? Thanks Phoenix. I'll give it a go and see how I get on. :DYour pet should level faster than you. Tame it, then press shift+p and look at its XP bar, you will notice that the amount of xp needed to level is vastly inferior to yours. Taming something 24 levels behind you will
still take you a while to take to your own level, though.
I suggest you put your current pet in a stable, so if you decide your new pet is leveling too slow, you won't have lost your current one
