Subscribe to the BlogFirst off, I would say that many people may feel that the difference in stat bonus (more agi, more stam) would make it worthwhile to go for the sonic spear.
It's a tradeoff. For some people the attack power is worth the drop in stats, for others it's not.
there's also the hit rating difference.

I mean come on, if you did the PVP quest in Hellfire enough to get 50 tokens to be able to buy everything you wanted and grind out XP then you should be really close to being revered. Once you get revered the reward is Hellforged Halberd Wich benifits us WAAAAY more, and its half the work to get it. It just comfuses me as to why everybody does this, as the PVP quest is beginable early on, and doesnt take near the grind as does the Sonic Spear. Any input would be nice.
All told the Halberd is responsible for 216 of my AP with the +70 AP enchant (MM Spec)
So far its the best one I have found in the game, if anybody has any others I would love to see them-Wheels
